OFFICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The appointee will assist in providing technical support for audiovisual equipment in classrooms/lecture halls/meeting rooms on the main campus of the University. He/She is expected to work independently with minimal supervision in providing consultation to staff and students on the use of audiovisuals, network, PC’s and related equipment. Shift duties will be required to meet the teaching schedule of the university.

Applicants should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Computing or related discipline. For Technical Officer, the incumbent should have at least five years of solid experience in supporting audiovisual equipment, PC software and hardware, networking technologies, develop and enhance the software and hardware of electronic control systems, and practical experience in drawing applications. For Assistant Technical Officer, the incumbent should have at least two years of solid experience in the afore-mentioned relevant supporting field. Applicants with Diploma qualifications plus substantial years of relevant experience will also be considered.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
