Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading complex system development projects and ensuring a good quality of deliverable to fulfill business needs;
• Gather and analyze business requirements from users. Prepare functional specifications, system specifications, technical specifications and test plan;
• Perform system design & analysis on applications and to develop, enhance and maintain application system effectively with team members;
• To provide work estimates for proposed system changes and contribute to establishing the feasibility and economic justification for system development projects;
• Provide advisory to business community on the use of information technology.
• Ensure all project and service requests implemented are supported with test results, sign off, technical documentation and adhered to IT Standards/ Guidelines and change management control;
• To provide supervision and skills development on Analyst Programmer and Programmer;
• Responsible for system documentation and reviewing deliverables from Analyst Programmer and Programmer to ensure good quality;
• Responsible for the system integration testing and co-ordinate with the user acceptance testing and Implementation;
• To provide user training and support to enable users to operate the system effectively;
• Recognizing and promptly advising business users and superior of problems and recommended innovative solutions;
• Handle ad-hoc assignments.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• At least 7 years working experience in Client Server, AS400 or Internet application development and maintenance in which the last 3 years with supervisory role;
• Proficient in System design and programming tools such as using VB.Net, C#.net, ASP.net, SQL Server, Crystal Report, HTML, Java Script, C# etc.;
• Familiar with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
• Sound experiences in database design and administration;
• Experience in Life Insurance business is a must;
• With core Life system automation experience (New business, policy servicing, claims) is preferred;
• Customer focus, good communication skills and interpersonal skills;
• Motivate subordinates and demonstrate leadership skill;
• Excellent presentation skill;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
