The purpose of this position is to provide professional services related to the installation and commissioning of a hardware, OS and VMSphere ready-to-deploy an OTT solutions at various locations across Hong Kong.

This is an opportunity to join the AV/IT design and integration team of a well-established technology design/build firm. WIT Consulting Limited is looking for a highly responsible and motivated professional Linux System Administrator.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

* Strong OS administration skills on Linux;

* Hands-on experience with the latest Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration;

* Experience with Linux OS installation, Software and Patch management;

* Volume Manager Administration Network OS/SW installation;

* Linux Heart Beat Clustering;

* OS patching skills on UNIX (Linux or Solaris);

* Support experience with VERITAS Volume Manager and SAN-related tools;

* Strong knowledge on Solaris 9/10 or Redhat linux operating systems;

* Comprehensive understanding on how to debug/troubleshoot memory issues;

* VMware experience required (ideally vSphere);

* Significant Cisco switch/firewall familiarity.

UCS hardware experience an advantage.

EXPERIENCE

* Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

REQUIREMENTS

* BSc or equivalent with relevant experience.

Relevant certifications will be added advantage.
