Yes We Do Foundation (YWD) is a charity to improve the quality of elementary education in rural China. Founded in Hong Kong in 2009, YWD has benefited over 23,000 underprivileged children with the support of volunteers and donors from Hong Kong, Macau, China and overseas. We are looking for a Deputy Secreatry-General to join us, and assist YWD to promote well-rounded whole person education of children in underdeveloped areas in China. 

LOCATION: Hong Kong Science Park, N.T., Hong Kong

JOB DUTIES:

• Responsible for planning, developing and implementing projects and events in Hong Kong and China
• Assign jobs, review and monitor progress of all matters requiring follow up actions
• Collaborate with different stakeholders including directors, donors, volunteers and vendors to ensure effective project execution
• Perform office administrative support and carry out ad hoc projects
• Occasional short-term travel to China may be required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• University graduate or above, with 8 years of working experience, 3 of which involve management responsibilities
• Working experience in nonprofit organisations is an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese, English, including Putonghua
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Mature, self-motivated, independent, organised with good communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong team player with the ability to take initiatives, multitask, track projects and follow through with assigned tasks
