Responsibilities:

• Vertical responsibility from sourcing, development, preparing submission to U.S. buyers for approval, sampling, costing, testing, production till bulk shipments.
• Fabric and trims sourcing includes mills, suppliers and open market.
• Review in details on the tech pack and co-ordinate between U.S. buyer and mills, material suppliers and garment factories.
• Daily communication with U.S. buyers via emails and phone calls whenever necessary

Requirements:

• Very independent work, self-driven personality and well organized
• Diploma or above in Textile & Clothing or related discipline
• At least 5 years working experience in garment industry
• Good experience of BOTH Woven, Knit and Sweater fabrics for US and Asia market, knowledge in accessories is an advantage
• Experience in handling small volume orders and Children’s wears are definitely an advantage
• Able to independently handle garment development and production with overseas buyers
• Willing to travel abroad including China or other offshore countries occasionally
• Good command of written and fluent spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Hands on with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Chinese word processing
• Immediately available is preferred
