Purchasing Manager is a member of the Purchasing Team under VDA Group.  This post explores and manage all the diamond purchasing, cost and inventory control, for the company be able in the fierce international market in the jewelry industry to increase competitiveness

JOB Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Purchasing Manager to manage the Purchasing team
• Support Manager to identify strengths and gaps in performance and to seek solutions
• Implement and maintain regular communication channels to keep teams up-to-date with current performance.
• Analyze the purchasing management report and stone cost control
• Managing suppliers’ relationships  
• Responsible for stone inventory management

JOB Requirements

• Diploma holder of purchasing or relevant disciplines
• At least 8 years’ purchasing experience in luxury jewellery industry, in which 3 years at supervisory level
• With strong stone knowledge
• Well-organized, with strong analytical and communication skills
• Good in presentation and interpersonal skill
• Good command of English, Cantonese as well as Putonghua
• Good in computer software applications
• Frequent travel to China is necessary
