JOB Description

Buyer (Stone) is a member of the Purchasing Team under VDA Group. This team explores and assist manager to manage all the stone purchasing, cost and inventory control, for the company be able to increase competitiveness in the jewelry industry.

JOB Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all stone requirements (included Precious Stone and some Semi-Precious)
• Stone quality control: responsible for set up all the color stone standard as per customer’s need.  
• Managing: color stone purchasing management and inventory control
• Developed reliable vendor base and negotiated the most favorable terms & price.
• Evaluate: stone price review and supplier evaluation report
• Coach and support new material to our sales team

JOB Requirements:

• Diploma holder or at least 2 years purchasing experience in jewellery' industry
• With strong stone knowledge
• Well-organized, with strong analytical and communication skills
• Good in presentation and interpersonal skill
• Good command of English, Cantonese as well as Putonghua
• Good in computer software applications
• Travel to China is necessary
