Job Description

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure the product quality can fulfil our quality standard, countries’ regulation and customer expectation in our vendors across Asia Pacific Regions;
  • Set up, implement and monitor CSR standard and procedures encompassing ethical, social, environmental, energy & material, and health & safety;
  • Work cohesively with our sourcing team upfront from fabric/trims search throughout product development until products fully commercialized;
  • Conduct and plan factory evaluation in terms of technical, social and environment compliance and design corrective action plans if necessary;
  • Arrange or conduct inspection for assuring the adherence our product to the established quality control standards and specifications, carton marking, documentation, labeling and packing;
  • Review inspection reports on all merchandise inspected whether in process or final inspection and alert relevant parties for quality issues;
  • Investigate quality complaint and recommend & follow through related corrective action plan;
  • Analyze the performance of vendors, product lines and specific items and take necessary action or precaution; and organize supplier workshops to update on our ethical requirements and share best practices.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree in Quality Assurance, CSR, Ethical and Environmental, Manufacturing policies related disciplines;
  • Experience of establishing a QA & CSR department from scratch;
  • Solid experience in QA & CSR policies and procedures and auditing factories for garment industry in Asia;
  • Good knowledge of ethical standards and manufacturing, ISO Quality, Lean/Six Sigma/5S and NGO & premium brand connections;
  • Good leadership, coaching, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Assertive with sound communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking, detail-orientated and proactive team player.
