We are currently looking for a high caliber candidate to join our Quality Assurance team as “Quality Assurance Officer".

In this role, you will:

• Support other operations departments in development, implementation and maintenance of Company’s hygiene standards
• Assist to generate and review existing standard operating procedures to ensure quality standards are in place
• Develop and implement all necessary standard operating procedures and systems to ensure effective monitoring of quality standards
• Conduct investigation and figure out the root cause of customer complains
• Perform audit to support identification, auctioning and close out of non-compliance issue
• Conduct supplier audits in accordance with company’s food safety standard and issue audit report to review corrective action plan
• Provide guidelines and advice to managers and staff to improve hygiene standard
• Deliver training to all level of staff to support the application of company’s hygiene standard
• Conduct risk assessment and gap analysis of current quality system and generate appropriate corrective actions
• Assist in meal tasting and generate quality report
• Arrange and prepare microbiological sampling, review results and conduct investigations if necessary
• Be responsible for clerical works including but not limited to word processing, quality assurance report preparation and arrange food samples to external accredited laboratories for testing and follow up

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in microbiology or biology field or related disciplines
• 1-2 years of working experience related to quality control in F&B/Manufacturing industry
• Fresh Graduate will also be considered
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Application
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Consistent, objective and honest attitude in all communication and handling of food safety, service quality and hygiene issues versus Gate Gourmet and external parties
• Act quickly and positively to all sensible request for advice and assistance in quality assurance and hygiene issues from the operations
• Willing to perform shift
