Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the validation of JTI Quality Management System requirements applicable for JTI and/or 3rd party RRP supply chain to ensure highest product quality & fulfillment of relevant regulations through e.g. audit, CAPA, change management and NPD process
- Lead qualification process of new RRP manufacturing partners, new key component suppliers as well as new products manufacturing processes within RRP Asia supply chain including relevant onsite assessments.
- Ensure provision of requested support related to improvement projects, serious quality incident and increasing portfolio complexity to relevant stakeholders such as R&D, Global Supply Chain, Global Reduced Risk Products Team, Legal and Scientific & Regulatory Affairs
- Lead Batch Production Record review of RRP Asia manufacturing operations and direct further improvements of relevant documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
- Ensure the compliance to the JTI Management systems and respective duties in the department as well as cooperation on the continuous improvement process
- Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request
Job Requirements
- Scientific or technical university degree (e.g. chemical, physical, or environmental engineer; or food technology) or equivalent other business education
- 5 years practical experience within Quality, R&D or Manufacturing operations (ideally in tobacco or electronic business) having robust understanding of product design, manufacturing processes & quality management system
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Chinese, other languages considered as an advantage
- Integrative personality with distinctive ability to communicate and to work in a team. Good leadership as well as people development skills. Sovereignty when dealing with internal and external partners
- Organizational skills, flexibility and creativity. Reliability and confidentiality
- Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis techniques & statistics; profound project management skills; excellent PC skills (MS Office family) including experience in SAP R/3
