The Job

• Product (services) marketing and development
• Roll-out of new services/ solutions globally with relevant department(s) through strategy planning, marketing toolkits, online marketing and internal training
• Ensure consistency and feedback from local offices on global launch
• Facilitate/ participate in innovation and business development by market intelligence
• Business development and support
• Maximize leads generation and conversion for BD and Sales
• Partner with BD and Sales to explore new market segments and unlock business potential
• Brand building and consolidation
• Embrace Intertek brand values and express in all channels
• Hand on production of marketing materials
• As a key point of contact for corporate branding for local offices
• Foster and cultivate strong customer relationship and engagement
• Organize online/ offline events such as seminars, conference, workshops and webinars on key industry topics
• Lead Intertek as industry expert with technical sharing in case studies, white paper, blogs, etc.
• Understand market trend through surveys and studies
• Corporate communications
• Deliver communications/ campaign internally on Group, global, regional and local levels
• Manage effective communications with external stakeholders, including but not limited to media, industry bodies and trade associations
• Manage crisis per guidelines from Group

The Person

• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
• University graduate in any discipline
• 6 – 8 years’ relevant experience in marketing, with exposure in B2B corporate communications and public relations
• Regional/ global exposure is advantageous
• A fast learner with good business sense, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good team player with people from different countries/ culture, adapt to work-around-the-clock pattern
• Proficient in PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Chinese Word Processing
