Job Description

Exciting Opportunity to join us as a Programmatic Trader:

The programmatic trader is responsible for managing the day-to-day media buying activities and ensure success on client campaigns across the Dentsu Aegis Network including sister agencies Carat, Vizeum, Dentsu X and iProspect. The programmatic trader manages the workflow and integrity across 3 core areas of campaign management, (1) campaign setup and ad trafficking (2) campaign monitoring, reporting and optimization and (3) communications with the agency teams. The programmatic trader position represents a specialist who is able to work independently on a multiple set of clients with minimal supervision while adhering to all operational standards and driving business outcomes for clients.

Key accountabilities

  • Own daily operations and master media buying-related technologies, including DSPs, DMP, 3rd party ad servers and manual exchanges
  • Assist in the development of processes, documents, reporting, checklists, etc. that ensure efficient procedures and continual improvement for both new and existing clients
  • Work closely with our partners (technology, media, and data) to oversee the launch and execution of campaigns
  • Continually review campaign performance, develop optimization strategies and ensure campaign recommendations are implemented
  • Act as a resource for, and collaborate with, the Media Agency account teams through the planning and buying process

Qualifications & Skills

  • Preferably 2-3 years’ experience in Bid Management, Campaign Management/Optimization, or Digital Media Operations. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
  • Knowledge of all or some of these DSPs (DBM, TTD, Mediamath, Adobe etc) is a plus
  • Meticulous with strong numeracy and analytical skills and ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Ability to diagnose campaign issues, create solutions, to communicate and recommend those solutions to others in an easy-to-understand format
  • Excellent time management with ability to manage multiple projects across several client engagements while meeting deadlines
