Our client is an event and entertainment solution house based in Hong Kong that extends their arm to regional locations. They own and produce reputable events, branded entertainment and festivals. Due to expansion, they are looking to hire for a Senior Sales Manager (event sponsorship) to maximize revenue targets of events sponsorship and grow the existing networks.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Sponsorship & Partnership in developing the strategic sponsorship sales plan
• Identifying and generating relevant and quality business leads
• Convert quality business leads to opportunities and close deals collectively with the commercial team members
• Achieve revenue targets as specified in KPI’s
• Developing and managing relationships with key decision makers within targeted accounts
• Source and update market intelligence of relevant events and industry happenings to the commercial team
• Maintain and manage CRM on daily basis
• Creation of sales materials, e.g. proposal and presentation
• Participate in other music, arts and cultural events, industry conferences, exhibitions and networking events

Knowledge sought:

• Proven track record of access to leading local and international brands
• Proven track record of securing quality business leads
• 5+ years’ solid working experience in any of the following areas: event sponsorship, event management, business development
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiating & influencing skills with well-honed and developed networking abilities
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Good knowledge or understanding of music, arts and cultural events in Hong Kong and / or in the region
• Excellent in both written and oral communication – fluent English is a must, Cantonese and Mandarin is preferable
