Job Description

Communications Specialist

Opus has partnered with a global marketing consultancy, which works with clients to design retail marketing campaigns and loyalty programmes. The HK office is their regional HQ, with over 100 people in the office. They are looking for a native English Communications professional, to work closely with the Chairman to support on all Business Communications and CSR initiatives. Must have native English language capabilities and exceptional writing capabilities. Mandarin would be advantageous. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the internal blog, you will be responsible for researching and advising on different topics and themes to write about.
  • Write up all business communications, internal messages, speeches, interviews, etc.
  • Work with the global offices to create and execute Corporate Social Responsibility activities for the company. As APAC coordinator you will be responsible for leading those initiatives across the office and maximising participation.
  • Build relationships and network with NGO’s, to build a network within the community
  • Promote activities across social media channels and manage the social presence of the Chairman

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in either communications / PR / Translations / Copywriting.  
  • Native level of English is required and excellent written capabilities. Mandarin would be advantageous.
  • An interest in CSR and a passion to drive initiatives and encourage others to get involved.
  • Must be able to work independently, very detail minded and self motivated.  
  • Personality is key! You must be a cheerful, enthusiastic and outgoing individual – able to build relationships quickly and enjoy your work.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to prioritise.
