Job Description

Mander Portman Woodward (MPW) is one of the most respected names in the UK for A level, GCSE and university foundation courses with a focus on ambitious students aiming for top university placements. A leading provider in the domestic market for over 40 years the MPW brand is synonymous with quality, tailored education drawing on the Oxbridge tutorial model, and extends to a range of publications used throughout the sector.

With colleges in London, Cambridge and Birmingham MPW is well placed to grow its vibrant overseas community and is now looking to expand into a number of international markets. MPW’s growth agenda is for both UK and international students and by building capacity the ratio of 70% British and 30% international will be maintained.

We are seeking a successful and motivated international recruiter to join the group and take ownership of key markets and the associated recruitment objectives.  The successful candidate will support the strategy to raise MPW’s international profile and to increase the number of international students.

Roles and Responsibilities

Based out of MPW’s Hong Kong office in Admiralty, this post will have responsibility for developing appropriate recruitment strategies in a number of existing and emerging markets. Relevant experience of working across South-East Asia or East Asia is essential.

This challenging role will appeal to applicants who are ambitious, driven and pro-active with excellent literacy, presentation and communication skills, as well as experience working with databases and CRM systems. Experience in developing or managing education marketing, student recruitment or admissions activities is essential.  The post-holder will be required to undertake extensive travel and must bring with them the proven ability to manage their own schedules and build relationships.
