Responsibilities:

• Prepare drugs including chemotherapy and targeted therapy for oncology patients accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions
• Label pharmaceutical chemicals appropriately and mix medication solutions using specialized equipment in a sterile environment
• Assist to conduct patient counselling by explaining dosage, precautions and side effects of prescribed medicine to patients
• Assist to manage and restock pharmaceutical inventory
• Maintain a sanitary work environment
• Provide assistance as needed to other medical personnel, such as pharmacists, physicians and nurses
• Assist in handling cash transactions

Requirements

• Certificate in Dispensing Studies, Pharmaceutical Technology of Higher Diploma (at Institute of Vocational Education) or equivalent
• Relevant clinical or hospital dispensing work experience will be an advantage
• Professional commitment to safe medication practices in hospital patient care 

• Customer-oriented with good communication skills 

• Proficiency in spoken and written English or Chinese
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior grade
