Job Description

• Provide clinical care to patients
• Measure vital sign and body temperature
• Perform ECG and blood taking
• Administration of chemotherapy to patients
• Assist doctors during patient consultation
• Provide health care education to patients and their relatives
• Provide good and accurate documentation related to medical record
• Plan and implement medical center infection control measures occupational safety standards and policies with reference to international standards
• Maintain good communication with doctor, patients and relatives
• Perform duties as assigned and support day-to-day operations

Job Requirements

• Preferably nursing experience in oncology/cancer care
• Possess a valid/current nursing practicing certificate in Hong Kong
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in the followings will be an advantage:-
• Bone marrow transplantation, apheresis and palliative care
• Venous puncture, administration of chemotherapy and nursing care of central venous catheter
• Management of patients with cancer complications and emergency of malignancies
• Clinical and technical competency
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, knowledge of current trends in nursing practice.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and coaching skills
• BLS bi-yearly recertification
• ACLS is required for Critical Care Areas
