Job Description

 

JUNIOR TRIMS DEVELOPER

Join an expending & creative French Garment Accessories Company.

We will teach you Product, SAP system, Organization and Problem Solving Skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Paris office in analyzing and understanding the specific instructions of a trim development; determining various techniques and materials to use.
  • Communicate daily with both Paris Office and suppliers on status and updates/ progress of the trim item development.
  • Accurately interpreting & clearly passing on the development information to suppliers in order to develop samples.
  • Negotiate pricing and minimums (MOQ); sample lead-times; bulk production lead-times based on development specifications given with suppliers.
  • Maintain and update development item pricing information; development status / progress on an on-line system.
  • Maintaining an organized file of physical samples / approvals and other pertinent information associated with the specific trim item development.
  • Issue Po & PI for sampling and SMS order.
  • Collaborating with Customer Service & Purchasing departments in the timely and accurate passing of approved trim item information for bulk production.
  • Maintaining a constantly growing library of physical material references.
  • 5 days work   
  • 12 months salary + performance bonus

 Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience required.
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding in trim product construction/ materials/ specialty techniques (hangtags/ labels/ buttons and other hardware)
  • Knowledgeable in various trims item pricing range
  • Organized and willing to learn.
  • Perceptive and open to new ideas from different channels
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of people including Paris office and suppliers
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Able to work on Excel and Google Doc
  • Experience with SAP system is a plus
  • Immediately available is preferred
