Responsibilities:

• Define product strategy to meet defined growth and profit targets;
• Optimize product mix taking into account product trends and sales density;
• Proactively source new brands to develop and maintain market position;
• Ensure buying team negotiate best terms with suppliers to maximize gross profit;
• Utilise the network to expand suppliers base and attend Trade Shows to identify new product trends;
• Lead the buying team in maintaining strong relationship with all vendors;
• Regularly review sales, stock and margins against plans and initiate actions to drive sales and optimize gross profit;
• Work closely with operations, visual merchandising team and other counterparts to maximize sales and profit performance;
• Effectively train and motivate the buying team to optimize team performance and staff morale.

Requirement:

• University graduate in fashion or business studies;
• 5 years of independent buying and management experience in high-end fashion retail enterprises, preferably gained from a multi-brand environment;
• Strong fashion sense and be able to command of market needs and trends;
• Responsible, well-organized, self-motivated and independent;
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skill; good time management;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Based in Hong Kong but frequent travel is required.
