Financial Services Law Firm Seeking Legal Executive

We are a corporate law firm specializing in contentious and non-contentious financial markets, financial regulatory and capital markets matters.

We are looking for a smart, motivated individual who would be interested in developing himself or herself in a valuable practice area that is in high demand.

Responsibilities:

• Providing support to lawyers and clients of the firm, including drafting legal documents and agreements, preparing forms and reports, supporting transactions etc.
• Conducting due diligence investigations and legal research
• Assisting clients with SFC and other regulatory matters
• Assisting with litigation and disputes in the financial markets
• Contacting and following up with clients and regulatory bodies
• Handling general compliance and company secretarial work
• Maintaining client and administrative records
• Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in legal, company secretarial or other related disciplines preferred
• Preferably 1-3 years’ working experience in legal industry
• Detail-oriented, hard-working, organised, positive attitude and a team player
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese typing and writing
• Good communication skills in Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
