Job Duties:

• Reviewing, drafting and advising legal documents;
• Translating legal documents;
• Responding to client enquiries to explain the process of incorporating companies, as well as the striking off or liquidation of such entities;
• Preparing a variety of documents for submission to the Cayman Registrar or Companies and to the Cayman/BVI Companies Registry;
• Preparing legal opinions (including related director certificates, board and shareholder resolutions);
• Assisting in some legal projects.

Requirements

• LLB Degree or equivalent;
• At least 3 years working experience in an International Law firm, Com Sec firm or financial industry is an definite advantage, especially in Corporate/Funds/ IPO teams;
• Familiar with offshore law jurisdictions;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent Mandarin is preferred;
• Able to read and type simplified Chines is preferred;
• Good command in MS Office and Chinese word processing;
• PRC students will also be considerate.
