Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling customer’s technical enquiries and orders.

• Ensure all quotations are submitted within customer’s deadline and orders are prepared in accordance to vessel schedule.

• Arrange for goods returned (if any) to suppliers promptly.

• Procure items at the best prices from the best sources.

• Co-ordinate with Warehouse on stock requisitions, prepare orders and submit to Senior Customer Account Manager for approval.

• Close all invoices in a timely manner for both suppliers / customers and submit to Finance Department.

• Any other related jobs and assignments as and when assigned to you.

Requirements:

• Diploma holder or above, study in the discipline of Marine or Mechanical Engineering will be an advantage
• 3 years relevant working experience in purchasing and preferably in ship management industry
• Good team player, organized and detail-minded
• Self-motivated, high integrity and able to cope with high work pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Proficient in MS Office applications
