Job Description

The Role

To drive sustainable financial growth through identifying and maximizing sales opportunities and forging strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and obstacles regarding the commercial development of the business
  • Implement a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new customers based on our product range 
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Provide effective feedback to help improve product competitiveness
  • Build long-term relationships with New and Existing customers
  • Prepare sales contracts/quotations  ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Ensure CRM compliance on a daily basis
  • Keep records of sales and Gross Profit Revenue
  • Work as an effective link between Customers and the Operations & Customer Service team
  • Be self-sufficient in generating revenue and managing costs
  • Attend Internal Sales meetings 
  • Support the business in maintaining a positive and enjoyable working experience, aligned with its culture and values

Required Skills 

  • Strong Self Motivated
  • Commercial awareness and comfortable with the dynamics of a small, fast growing business
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Effective communication skills in all disciplines including written, oral, email and presentation
  • Ability to plan, organise and manage time without supervision
  • Capable of hands on problem-solving
  • Ability to proactively generate ideas and solutions

Experience

  • At least 3-4 years Hong Kong market sales experience in a Logistics/ Freight Forwarding Company (less experience will be considered as sales executive).
  • Proven sales track record of having worked in Hong Kong, as a Business Development Manager OR Sales Executive
  • Experience in customer support
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Proficiency in English would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Freight Forwarding / Logistics market
