Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager, Event Sponsorship is responsible for maximising revenue targets of sponsorship for the events owned and produced by Magnetic Asia. This includes planning and implementing sales strategies, and to maximise the potential of existing networks as well as securing quality business leads.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Sponsorship & Partnership in developing the strategic sponsorship sales plan
• Identifying and generating relevant and quality business leads
• Convert quality business leads to opportunities and close deals collectively with the commercial team members
• Achieve revenue targets as specified in KPI’s
• Developing and managing relationships with key decision makers within targeted accounts
• Source and communicate market intelligence of relevant events and industry happenings to the commercial team
• Maintain and manage CRM on daily basis
• Creation of sales materials, e.g. proposal and presentation
• Participate in other music, arts and cultural events, industry conferences, exhibitions and networking events on behalf of Magnetic Asia

Knowledge sought:

• Proven track record of access to leading local and international brandsProven track record of securing quality business leads
• 5+ years’ solid working experience in any of the following areas: event sponsorship, event management, business development
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiating & influencing skills with well-honed and developed networking abilities
• Strong knowledge of market trends and initiatives
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Good knowledge or understanding of music, arts and cultural events in Hong Kong and / or in the region
• Excellent in both written and oral communication – fluent English is a must, Cantonese and Mandarin is preferable
• Flexible in working hours
