Duties : Assist in the daily operation of CityU VDL; receive and distribute laboratory samples in the laboratory; enter laboratory data; record, file and retrieve laboratory results; provide clerical support to specimen receiving, administration and financial matters; respond to telephone and email enquiries; handle and resolve enquiries from customers and suppliers; handle laboratory consumable order requests from customers; and perform any other duties as assigned.

Holiday and weekend rotations are required.

Requirements : A good honours degree in Biological Science or related disciplines.  Excellent computer skills; excellent communication and telephone skills; good written and spoken English and Chinese; ability to meet deadlines, work independently as well as with laboratory teams; good interpersonal skills and attention to details are required.

Salary and Conditions of Service

The appointment will be under CityU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory Company Limited.   Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental schemes.
