Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and coach the SHE programs under ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems;
  • Conduct risk assessment, manage the safety risk register and provide recommendations to mitigate the potential risks associated;
  • Provide professional safety guidance and advice in support of the Corporation’s activities across divisions, tenants, contractors, business partners and visitors;
  • Coordinate and attend safety sub-committee meetings to review issues, report trends and follow up SHE programs with committee members;
  • Conduct routine inspections and internal audits on workplace, worksite and tenants’ premises with recommendations for improvement;
  • Assist in conducting incident investigations where necessary and develop preventive actions relating to injuries, near miss incidents, contractors’ work activities and environmental emergency;
  • Organize and conduct Health & Safety training, briefings and seminars at corporate level to divisions;
  • Develop and update SHE documentations;
  • Organize and engage in SHE promotion events;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Requirements:

  • Possession of a bachelor degree with qualification in Safety, Health and Environment related area;
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in Safety, Health and Environment;
  • Registered Safety Officer and Registered Safety Auditor is preferred;
  • Experience to establish Safety Management System covering corporate activities including facilities, events and venue, construction and laboratory environment is preferred;
  • Experience of ISO45001 / OSHAS18001 and ISO14001 implementation is preferred;
  • Knowledge of control of contractor / construction works performance would be an advantage;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
