Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform preparation works for accreditation-related activities including, but not limited to, method validation (MV), measurement uncertainty (MU), inter-laboratory correlation (ILC) performance evaluation, etc.
- Assist the Supervisor in developing and updating Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Control materials.
- Assist in new test setup and deployment in project basis.
- Perform and monitor equipment calibration and ensure proper handling and maintenance of test equipment by technical staff in the laboratory
- Undertake any other duties as deemed appropriate by the (Assistant) Supervisor or above.
Job Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Analytical Science, Environmental Science, Biochemistry or related disciplines.
- 4 years work experience in commercial testing laboratory.
- Knowledge in ISO/IEC 17025, MV and MU is a definite advantage.
- Basic knowledge in analytical and chemical testing.
- Good analytical skill and attention to details.
- Strong sense of responsibility.
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English (Mandarin is a plus).
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Chemist
