Key responsibilities:

• To manage a fleet of ocean going vessels and local barges including crew supervision.
• Has the ability to improve fleet administration standards and policies for vessel operation
• Has the ability on organization of the annual budget and also reports the cost of each operation and the overall cost.
• Supervise the vessel repair and maintenance operation.
• To ensure that the crew deliver the best possible service.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma holder with license as ship captain or ship master
• 5-10 years relevant experience in the related industry
• Have the ability to manage people,organize daily routines,implementing preventive maintenance program, trouble shooting and provide technical advice/solutions to management
• Knowledge in Hong Kong Marine Ordinance, some engineering knowledge with analytical skill is a definite advantage
• Familiar with MS Officeand general computer skills
• Open-minded, aggressive, creative, self-driven, independent, outspoken with positive and can-do attitude
• Good negotiation, presentation, communication & interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Cantonese & English and some Mandarin
• Able to work on call 24 hours a day
