Our Freight Forwarding and Logistics client is urgently seeking for a Procurement Category Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement the procurement strategy for some pre-defined key spending categories or initiatives including civil, equipment and services contract under the established procurement governance, policy, procedures, process and guideline. 
• Perform market sourcing for introducing new products and technologies to end users in quality improvement and cost saving purposes.
• Structure regular review and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Member of a recognized procurement or supply chain professional body will be an advantage
• 5 years+ experience in corporate procurement and supply chain, especially contract tendering and award recommendation, experience in container terminal or negotiate with vendors on procurement contracts 
• Experience in vendor management with key suppliers and contractors
