Responsibilities: 

• Perform general purchasing duties and follow up purchasing orders
• Liaison with vendors and suppliers for price & terms negotiation and comparison
• Sourcing of new vendors and suppliers
• Responsible for quotation, order fulfillment, delivery expediting, and order maintenance throughout the life of the orders.
• To update production plan and work with internal department to meet delivery schedule
• Monitors key performance metrics and continuously reviews the performance of suppliers with regards to quality, delivery, vendor reliability and price.
• Supports the Engineering and New Product Development groups with the creation of new material numbers and vendor accounts.
• Responsible for executing the payment process, resolving payment and receipt errors.
• Drive standardized procurement best practice processes

Requirements:

• Diploma in Purchasing/ Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on toys or gift & premium manufacturing experience
• With 2-3 years solid experience in planning, controlling for production and materials is preferred
• Proficient in operating MRP/ERP systems
• Proficiency in PC applications, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint
• Proactive, resourceful & team-player
• Excellent organization, planning and communication skills, with ability to work efficiently within cross-functional team
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
