Job Description
Responsibilities:

• Review cost estimates and bills of quantities prepared by consultants to ensure effective cost control and compliance with project specifications
• Review tender assessment and tender analysis prepared by consultants and prepare consolidated recommendations for tender review committee’s review and approval
• Monitor the consultant on timely delivery of reports such as financial statement, variation assessment, VE exercise, contract binding, etc.
• Manage interim payments, claims, disputes and variation assessment
• Prepare cash flow / expenditure forecast for financial control purposes

Requirements:

• Report to Department Head
• Occasional travel to overseas Development projects
• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with Professional Qualification in Quantity Surveying gained from recognized professional bodies
• At least 10 years’ relevant experience in cost estimating, cost control and contract administration of residential/commercial construction projects
• In-depth experience in handling building projects, particularly in preparation and review of draft contracts/agreements, assessment of variations, measurement, payments, estimating and cost control
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application
• Cambodia / China projects experience preferable
