Responsibilities

Are you a talented, creative designer looking to take on an exciting challenge? Are you able to produce exciting, engaging content for online and offline channels? Do you have a passion for education? If the answer to all of these questions is a resounding YES, then we want to hear from you.

ESF is the largest provider of English medium education in Hong Kong. We have a proud history, but we have an even more exciting future. We are looking for a talented designer to join our Communications team – so that we can continue to tell the world about the amazing things that happen each in every day in every one of our 22 schools.

For the successful candidate, this will be an exceptional opportunity to showcase their talents.

The Designer will be based within the Communications Directorate of ESF. They will take the lead in ensuring that ESF websites, publications and pieces of social content are designed to the highest possible standards. Strong design skills are essential – as is the ability to think and act creatively. A strong working knowledge of WordPress will be a distinct advantage.

Main Accountabilities

• Lead on the design of a range of materials – from website templates, to newsletters to brochures.
• Liaise with local printers to ensure co-ordination of publication
• Lead on the design aspects relating to the ESF website portfolio
• Lead on the production of infographics and other social content
  
  

Requirements

• Degree or Higher Advanced Certificate in Design
• 3 years relevant experience
• Strong skills in designing and producing high quality and creative publications using the Adobe suite of design programmes
• Ability to develop creative and fresh ideas for incorporation into publications and documents
• Fluency in oral and written English; Cantonese (advantage)
• Strong knowledge of WordPress
• Experience of designing templates for MailChimp
• - Strong understanding of designing for websites and social media
