Job Summary

Finance Manager, APAC reports to the VP Finance, APAC. The primary responsibility is working on our compliance and management assurance especially on audit, tax. sales contract, internal control, costing and pricing. This role shall be able to lead projects independently and host conference calls with people in different regions. This position is needed to sit and work closely with APAC management team in Hong Kong and equip with language skills of English and Chinese. He/she shall equip with knowledge and experience with audits and internal control and be able to drive changes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage statutory audit and tax compliance; Work with local accountants for on time completion and filing.
• Conduct and review areas for internal control risk within finance functions; Provide recommendations to strengthen our internal control process
• Review and document our process flow and in revenue cycle to identify internal control risk for improvement
• Develop policies and establish control procedures within the Company; Liaise and interact with various business units in implementation of policy and control procedures
• Conduct monthly balance sheet review to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency of balance sheet items across APAC entities
• Engage in costing and pricing project for revenue assurance
• Perform ad hoc analysis and assignments as required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/EXPERIENCE

To qualify for this position, the following is required: 

Education: 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent
• CPA preferred.

Experience: 

• At least 10 years’ relevant experience of which at least 3 years of Big 4 audit experience
• Outstanding analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of internal control and good practice
• Proficiency in in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• High degree of business acumen and exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

• Able to apply technical accounting expertise pragmatically, while displaying strong attention to detail, high levels of accuracy and compliance with policies
