Our client is one of the world's leading global travel group with international presence to more than 100 cities. Their APAC headquarter Hong Kong office is now seeking for an Accounting Manager responsible in handling all aspects of the reporting functions, internal and external financial reporting, and other financial compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Advise and support to the financial team in annual budgeting cycle and lead the day-to-day management of the business unit’s financial functioning for APAC markets
• Coordinate the financial analysis needs of business units; conduct economic studies for the business
• Prepare monthly consolidation, financial and management report for the business unit as well as compliance with local statutory reporting requirements for APAC markets
• Oversee and supervise all transaction processing activities, includes but not limit to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll and management with third party providers when necessary 
• Support the establishment of business analysis property finance plans & policies and manage the implementation to ensure compliance of financial activities of the managed department / business area with the Group’s established policies
• Coordinate the preparation of year-end financial statements and audit activities with external financial audit firms
• Coach, mentor and develop direct reports to ensure the team performance
• Perform any ad hoc responsibilities as assigned

Requirements: 

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
• Designations of CPA or related professional qualifications
• Minimum 6 years’ related experience in international audit firm or commercial accounting, including 3 years or above in supervisory experience 
• Experience in Shared Service Centre is highly preferred
• Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Responsible, meticulous and able to coordinate among different parties and regions
