The candidate’s primary responsibilities are to provide Project support with our financial system upgrades focused primarily on our Essbase enhancement. The candidate will also provide support in ad-hoc business analysis and Financial reporting for the regional FP&A team, whilst supporting financial initiatives we have in the year. 

Responsibilities

• Liaise and co-ordinate the Financial project upgrades with primary focus on essbase
• Support the existing FP&A regional team on our Budget, forecast, closing and weekly reporting cycles and processes
• Manage Ad hoc business analysis requests provide key insights and analytics to management
• Support additional financial initiatives with enhanced reporting, streamlining activities to create an efficient and robust FP&A infrastructure

Requirements

• Degree Holder in Finance or Accounting related discipline, preferably with an internationally recognized accounting qualification
• 1+ year solid financial analysis experience. Regional exposure is a definite advantage
• Experience in preparing financial plans with budget/ forecasting and analytics preferably in the retail environment
• Team player, self-initiated, flexible; works well under pressure of multiple / concurrent deadlines
• Ability to navigate and extract data from general ledger / data warehouse tools
• Fluent in Cantonese & English, Mandarin a plus
• Knowledge in Essbase , and Microsoft AX (or equivalent) is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Immediately available is highly preferred
