KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Duties include but are not limited to the following)
Regional Office:
• Responsible for full set accounts so the financial statements are reconciled and closed within deadline;
• Complete all the reporting packs as required by Group;
• Fully responsible for handling annual audit so the audited accounts can be done and filed on time in accordance with each local statutory requirement;
• Liaise with tax professional on the compliance of Country-By-Country Reporting (CBCR) and the corporate income tax;
• Handle the indirect tax filing and settlement;
• Provide information for enquiries from government authorities such as statistics reporting;
• Monitor the implication of new local accounting and tax rules and report to the management;
• Liaise with the payable functions and ensure that expenses are properly authorized and accounted for;
• Prepare breakdown, reports or ad-hoc analysis;
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Hong Kong Office:
• Assist in month-end closing, e.g. intercompany reconciliations, accounting schedule preparation and bank reconciliations;
• Handle bank guarantee carnet and its liabilities and return;
• Ensure T&E record from the booking system to reflect on the accounting ledger timely and accurately;
• Assist Finance Manager in auditors’ enquiries making sure that annual audits can be completed on time;
• Assist in tax computation and filings;
• Prepare breakdown, reports or ad-hoc analysis;
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Initiative, curious and enthusiastic in challenge and change
• Independent and fast learner in a dynamic working pace environment
• Team spirit and good communication skills is a must
• University degree in Accounting or related discipline
• Member of HKICPA or related professional body is preferred
• At least 3 years’ working experience in Auditing/Taxation/Accounting, experience in accounting professional firm is preferred
• Experience on system control and review process
• Experience on HSBCnet is preferred
• Experience on handling full set of accounts. Handling accounts and tax filings in Asia Pacific regions is preferred
• Competent on Microsoft software, such as Excel, Microsoft Word etc
• Previous exposure in JDE is preferred but not a must
• Excellent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
