Job Description
Responsibilities
- Work closely with and provide legal / compliance support to investment teams on a wide range of investment projects
- Liaise with external counsel and other external parties
- Draft and Review contracts and keep up to date with the latest regulations affecting the business, ensure all internal procedures and public material/content conform with the latest rules and regulations
- Liaise with key stakeholders and monitor the group's expansion plans are carried out in line with current regulatory requirements
- Support onsite inspection and coordinate with regulators to respond all enquiries
- Handle legal and compliance administrative support as required
- Promote and raise the compliance awareness to employees
- Assist to managers for monitoring and investigating suspicious service interview cases
- Any ad hoc work, as required
Requirements
- University degree in Law / Finance / Business or related disciplines
- At least 2 years' relevant experience in a licensed financial institution in Hong Kong
- Familiar with Hong Kong Listing Rules, SFC and Company Ordinances, and capable to make relevant analysis
- Self-motivated, meticulous and strong organisational skills, able to demonstrate high integrity
- Strong knowledge of compliance and the regulatory environment
- Good command of spoken and written in English and Chinese (ideally including Mandarin Chinese)
- Able to work under pressure and work independently
