Job scope:

• Report to MD in charge of Front Office Business Management of Private Wealth Management
• Act as the gate keeper to the front office bankers/senior management to ensure the fulfilment of regulatory/corporate governance
• Oversight daily business activities related to account opening, KYC, periodic review, trades approval, client profile update, customized investment proposals, trade booking/operations related aspects
• Point-of-escalation for issues handling and supervisory inquiries from front office
• Assume the consultancy/advisory function to promote regulatory risk culture, support risk assessment, regulatory control monitoring as well as related investigation by working in partnership with COO office, compliance, risk and audit departments
• Work in close partnership with compliance and executives from Front to Back offices on accounting opening & transaction activities
• Active participation to facilitate run the bank and change the bank related initiatives
• Enhancement of policies and procedural review in accordance to HKMA/MAS regulatory and corporate governance changes

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting/ Business/Legal or related disciplines
• 6 years+ of relevant Business Management, Compliance/Operational Risk, Audit or Project Management experience acquired from Int’l private banks/consultancy firms
• Understanding towards private wealth management industry is a definite advantage
• Strong risk control mindset with good regulatory knowledge
• Driven with strong problem solving capability and communication skill to work with internal stakeholders
