Product Due Diligence Manager/Product Risk Management -Global Markets/Capital Markets 

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership to perform independent review of product due diligence process in risk team, including product risk rating, for financial products of Capital Market and Private Banking in Hong Kong Branch;
• Apply strong knowledge in regulatory requirements in product due diligence process, regularly review and identify changes in regulatory requirements in the process;
• Assist in formulating new policies and controls in product due diligence process to comply with regulatory requirements;
• Participate in and implement ad-hoc projects or tasks relating to product due diligence process, or as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines, preferably with relevant professional qualifications;
• Solid 3 to 5 years of experience in product due diligence and product risk rating for financial products of private banking, wealth management and/or capital market. Prior experience in international private banks would be advantageous;
• Strong financial product knowledge (covering derivative and non-derivative products), including an understanding of key documentation terms and agreements;
• Sound knowledge and competence in regulatory requirements on product due diligence and product risk rating;
• Able to attend to details and can complete assigned tasks within tight timelines;
• Strong communication skills and be confident to communicate with stakeholders at all levels;
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision;
• Have a take ownership and be able to work as part of a team and with management;
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
