Our client is a well established asset management firm major in hedge fund business.  She is current looking for a high calibre candidate to fulfil the following position:

Fund Operations Officer/ Associate (Hedge Fund)

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily trade matching/ cash and position reconciliations
• Liaise with the fund administrator, prime brokers, execution brokers and portfolio managers on trade reconciliations, unmatched trades, corporate actions and settlement issues
• Liaise with portfolio managers and/or execution brokers to resolve discrepancies if any
• Handle related ad-hoc tasks if required

Requirements:

• University graduate in finance or equivalent disciplines
• With 1 to 2 years of experience in hedge fund operations or fund accounting
• Proactive, eager to learn, strong sense of responsibility and good team spirit
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, with good skills in using VBA Macro programming will be a big plus
