Purpose of Role:

• This role supports Underwriters in the Starr Tech team in the performance of reviewing and binding energy, property and construction business, and policy bookings

Responsibilities: 

• Enter submissions and process policy bookings onto internal systems
• Create and manage files with required documents
• Input risk data into catastrophe modeling and data capture
• Credit control on premium receivables
• Assist Underwriter(s) to handle producer enquiries and meetings as required
 

Requirements:

• Working knowledge and input as required on WORD, EXCEL, E-MAIL, and POWERPOINT.  Trainings will be provided for Salesforce, Risk Decisioner, and Camilion booking system
• Fluent in both verbal and written English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage
• Excellent analytic skills, attention to details and the ability to communicate well
• Team player and aspiration to grow
• Tertiary education. Major in Mathematics, engineering, law, science, or business development will be preferred
• 1-2 years working experience in General Insurance is preferred. Recent graduate will also be considered
