About Our Client (Sizable trading Company) & Job Description 

Our client, sizable trading companies,is now looking for a Procurement & Sourcing Manager to join their team. The job duties are as follows:

• Sourcing of commodity products of chemical ingredients or raw materials;
• Familiar with global sourcing of chemical raw materials for the group of companies including US and France;
• Oversee price negotiation activities;
• Conduct quotation comparison and material cost calculation.
• Review supplier business proposals and present recommendations that will result in cost savings, avoidance or containment.
• Drive continuous improvement in term of total cost, process, delivery, lead-time, flexibility, inventory and daily operation.
• Identify supplier consolidation opportunities, consolidate spend across all sites supply base, analyze purchasing trends and develop sourcing alternatives.
• Identify new high potential suppliers on a global basis.

 Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or equivalent experience
• With 5 years strategic sourcing, supply chain or commodity operation management experience in chemical or fragrance industry
• Ability to handle multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge in ERP system is an advantage
• Proficient in MS office and basic computer skills
• Overseas travel (India and China) will be required
• Fluent written and spoken in Mandarin and English
• Immediate available preferred.
