JOB DUTIES

Building Services Engineer/ Coordinator is responsible for providing on SITE building services related supports, documentations, drawings, coordination with client and sub-contractors and assisting project manager to carry out the construction projects smoothly and efficiently. 

Typically involve:

• Acting as the main contact point on site between employers, sub-contractors, NSC, workers and company on a Building Services within construction projects;
  
  
• Construct Building Services related drawings with AutoCAD and building services related calculation.
  

• Assist project manager, site agent and site foreman on checking plans, drawings, regulation and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
  
  
• Material ordering and co-ordinate with suppliers to site
  
  
• Assist project manager and foreman on managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect;
  
  
• Assist project manager and foreman liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
  
  
• Assist project manager and foreman liaising with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws;
  
  
• Communicating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
  
  
• day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;
  
  
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet programme;
  
  
• Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site;
  
  
• Taking and preparing reports as required;
  
  
• Report and Resolve any unexpected difficulties and other problems that may arise.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Services or equivalent 
  
  
• Min. 3 years Experience in  building services works;experiences on Lift installation will be an asset
  
  
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
  
  
• Independent with strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure
  
  
• Self-motivated
  
  
• Team player
  
  
• Head office located in Tuen Mun, return upon request.
  
  
• Mainly work at the site office at HUNG HOM, KOWLOON
  
  
• 6 working days (8am – 6pm)
  
  
• 7 days annual leaves
  
  
• Days off on HKSAR statutory
  
  
• Starting Salary: Negotiable
