Job Duties

• Formulate policies and procedural manuals for Building Services of Hotel Management
• Deal with hotel operators and tenants of hotel mall to resolve complaints and requests about facility and building maintenance needs
• Inspect hotel properties in handling maintenance work
• Coordinate between contractors and relevant parties to implement projects
• Oversee and monitor the progress and quality of maintenance work and renovation projects
• Schedule preventive and routine maintenance programmes
• Prepare and monitor building maintenance budgets
• Draft tendering documents
• Review and provide comments on contractors’ submissions, carry out site supervision, witness testing and commissioning
• Attend meetings with hotel operators and tenants and give professional advice to hotel owner

Requirements

• Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Members of HKIE, HKIS or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in which at least 3 years gained in luxury hotels is essential
• Skilled in designing and managing building services systems
• Conversant with statutory requirements of Building Ordinance and allied regulations
• Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and able to handle multi-tasks
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD
