Job Summary

Manage the engineering department including Process Engineering, Industry Engineering, Machine Engineering and  maintenance of equipment & Fixture.  Review and solve manufacturing issues, and achieve manufacturing excellence at all aspects of quality, productivity as well as costing. Be overall responsible for the manufacturing engineering. Accountable for the business needs of advance manufacturing technology and deployment. Provide leadership, support, and coaching to the various engineering  functions.  Communicate with personnel at all levels to ensure the smooth implementation of company’s strategy, rules and goals.

Job Responsibilities

1, Overall manufacturing engineering management of process engineering, machine engineering, industry engineering,  failure analysis and trouble shooting.

2,Direct and prioritize the engineering activities to achieve department KPI of quality, efficiency and cost saving.  

34, Develop and implement effective periodic repair and maintenance programs for all the equipment, tooling, jigs. Take control of spare parts.  Ensure production running without unexpected shutdown.

4, Lead engineering team to provide the professional SOPs, layout and capacity planning

5, Work together with project management and design team for new product introducing.

6, Identify the key skill gaps and hence the training/hiring needs within engineering department.

7, Help Subordinates in professional growth and career development.

8, Having study of the advance manufacturing technology in the industry and making middle term and long term

manufacturing process upgrading planning and deployment.

9, Leading and driving the engineering team for continuous improvement and innovation.

Job Qualifications

1. Having the manufacture engineering experience in high volume, low mixture industry is preferred.
2. College degree or above in mechanical design/Automation/ Mechanical and Electrical or other equivalent
3. Minimum 10 years hands on working experience in manufacturing engineering , 3 years in management position.
4. Very good at Auto CAD, Pro-E or Solidworks
5. Good experience to implement quality system within engineering section.
6. Proficient in written and spoken English is a must.
7. Solid experience of lean manufacturing, PFMEA, MSA and DOE.
8. Self management and can work under pressure.
9. Good leadership and result orientated.
10. Good decision making and trouble shooting.
11. Proactive and passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
12. Good communication skill and team player.
