Job Description
Position Summary:
Release new SKUs to the factory; be an admin and expert in Product Data Management systems and ensure all users use PDM tools at the highest level; and drive planning and execution of selected key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- SKU Management:
- Own release and maintenance of all SKUs for multiple AirLink and AirPrime programs, per SKU release process.
- Liaise with software, mechanical, IT, finance, electrical, quality, marketing, factory, operations and all other relevant teams to acquire proactively all relevant documentations, files, and procedures for the purpose of SKU release projects.
- Maintain and update SKU tracker projects with all relevant information.
- Hold weekly SKU meetings to track progress and audit performance.
- Develop and produce periodic performance reports for management.
- Knowledge of label software such as CodeSoft and demonstrated ability to integrate into higher level automated systems.
- PDM tool (Agile) expert and admin:
- Admin for North America: address all PDM admin functions including: change routings, updating routings and templates, maintaining user access lists, troubleshooting, and general PDM admin activities. Working hours will need to cope with the time difference between Asia and North America.
- Subject matter expert: be an expert user of PDM tool (Agile); train all users to maximize utilization of tool; master all latest releases and understand implications to company processes and make recommendations to capture latest features in SWIR processes and understand implications to company processes and make recommendations to capture latest features in SWIR processes.
- Plan and drive selected special projects such as integration of acquired companies, data structure integrations, data mining, efficiency improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent with 5-8 years relevant experience in global manufacturing and/or operations electronics environment.

Customer and technically oriented leader with the ability to work under pressure in diverse cultural environments. Can solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a professional and effective manner.

5+ years experience dealing with BOMs of electronic goods, preferably telecoms, and associated communications to factories and associated PDM tools.

2+ years of project management experience.

2+ years experience in detailing statement of work documents to internal or external information system contractors to define custom web and database application.

Self starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally when needed.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Experience in wireless Machine-to-machine technologies is an asset.

Excellent communication skill including spoken and written English and Chinese.
