Job Description

Job Responsibilities:-

  • Formulating phased strategic goals and annual operational objectives for the Robotics platform and Robotics Catalysing Centre (RCC)
  • Building an Robotics ecosystem by landing corporates, solution providers and research institutes in RCC and conduct the due diligence & assessment
  • Building collaboration with strategic partners to support RCC’s users from both technical and marketing perspective and driving the collaboration among RCC’s users & partners
  • Working closely with corporate partners to identify the roadmap for development and deployment of Robotics solutions
  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with local, China and international stakeholders (e.g. association, research institute, university, corporate) to promote the Robotics platform
  • Building partnership in Robotics industry proactively from both demand and supply side in order to drive the deployment of Robotics in society
  • Driving the corporate initiatives by developing business model and promotional plan
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the line manager as appropriate
     

Requirements:- 

  • University graduate or above in Mechanical / Industrial / System Engineering / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics or related discipline/qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant working experience in business development, especially in automation and robotics. Candidate with less experience will be considered for lower position
  • Experience in commercialization of R&D project with university / research institute is an advantage
  • Experience in developing and managing innovation projects within sizable corporations / MNCs is preferred
  • Experience in developing and managing R&D projects with university / research institute is preferred
  • Previous exposure to Mainland China and overseas market(s) is a plus
  • Good relationship with technology community in Hong Kong is an advantage
  • Self-motivated, organized, a good team player and manager able to multi-task and work under pressure and tight schedule
  • Logical thinking, attention to details, great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (in particular Mandarin) required
