Pret has over 500 shops in nine markets and serves more than 500,000 customers everyday around the world. Headquartered in London, Pret has local teams in the UK, US, France, and Hong Kong.

The Role:

Reporting into the Director of Operations, the Hub Kitchen Operations Manager looks after the production Kitchen operation for Pret in Hong Kong.

The role involves a mixture of day shifts (30%) and night shifts (70%).

What will I be doing?

Drive Succession: The Hub Kitchen Operations Manager ensures they have the right people, in the right place, at the right time, to meet the needs of the Hub Kitchen and the shops it serves.

Drive the Business: The Hub Kitchen Operations Manager gets under the bonnet of their area of the Hub Kitchen as if it were their own, taking full ownership for production, standards and service levels.

Drive and Embed Change: The Hub Kitchen Operations Manager works closely with the shop Operations Managers and the Support Centre team, and coaches and supports their team to land meaningful and timely change in the Hub Kitchen.

We’d love to hear from people with:

·         At least five years of proven hands-on experience of managing a central food production kitchen.

·         A proven track record of delivering results in a complex, fast-paced and multi-cultural environment.

·         Experience of building strong, professional relationships with the regulatory bodies, suppliers and peers.

·         Relevant Food Safety and Health and Safety accreditations.

·         Demonstrated leadership capability to build strong teams and to achieve business goals.

·         Good command of MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

·         Fluent level of spoken and written Cantonese, and business level English.

·         The ability to work a mixture of day shifts (30%) and night shifts (70%) to meet business requirements

·         The right to live and work in Hong Kong.
