Job Description

Responsibilities:

Report to Solutions Development Manager
Development and delivery of solutions / services such as master data management, data as a services, supplier portal, B2B / B2B2C e-commerce, data visibility platform, product traceability / authentication applications, global data standards implementation, CRM, data analytics for both internal & external customers
Manage full software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, technical studies, system design, programming, testing (e.g. SIT, UAT), training, system releases and documentation
Enhance the development frameworks, processes and tools
Study and assist in proof of concept for new GS1 standards and technologies e.g. Blockchain, Internet of Things
Any other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

Degree or above in Computer Engineering, System Engineering or Computer Science
2+ years’ experience in web / cloud based application development using at least one of the following technologies:
- Java / Java Framework (Spring, Spring Data, Hibernate)
- Java Spring XML and RESTful API web service
- Javascript / Javascript Framework (Angular, React, Vue and Node.js)
Python Data Analysis Library (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
Self-motivated, pro-active to tackle issues, willing to learn and collaborate with the team
Good command of English and Chinese.
Candidate with less experience could be considered as Programmer
