BI Technical Specialist – (BW Business Warehouse)

The incumbent will act as Subject Matter Expert on the associated SAP BW / BO application to works with Solution Architect to ensure that optimal, robust and sustainable solutions are designed using the SAP BW application to best meet the company strategic plan and business imperatives. Also to assist in application strategy and blueprint, application improvement, vendor management, and other initiatives.

The Job

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for BI tools and BI data modeling
• Carry out testing activities for bug fixes and system changes
• Data Migration activities including creating program and logic for data transformation
• Able to create simple queries in order to help business
• Effectively communicate and facilitate key design decisions with senior business and IT stakeholders
• Adhere to vendor management processes/procedures; and contribute to vendor scorecard
• Build and maintain repositories for deliverables, methodologies and development documents
• Adhere to group standards and drive compliance in the country
• Deliver application related projects, including integration components, application changes, patches, upgrades, and new requirements

The Person

• Diploma holder in Information System, Computer Science or related subjects
• Technical development in Power BI, SAP BW including data modeling, authorization, BW queries development, performance tuning, etc..
• FMCG or Retail Industries are advantages
• hands-on experience in SAP BO is an advantage
• Strong analytical mind with good communication & interpersonal skill
• Customer-oriented; can work independently and deliver multiple small to medium size initiatives or projects
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Able to speak Mandarin is a bonus
• A Fast Learner
